o When upgrading your rules may no longer work. Removing them and re-entering
will fix this. (Typically when advancing several version numbers in a
  single bound.)

o Sometimes XFMail can not determine the correct host name
of the system it's running on. As a result, the From and Sender
addresses might be incorrect. You will be asked for correct
  hostname (including domain).
(Also don't forget to fix your From address in General dialog).

o On some X servers, fonts in the Subject, From, and Sender fields may
be too big and will not fit in the input field, so those fields will
appear blank. In this case you should reduce the viewer/editor font size
  through Misc->Appearance dialog box.

Note: you need to change the fonts associated with the used charset(s)
and not with the viewer/editor itself. (See help for more details).

Note 2: if you're seeing that labels/text in various dialogs are too big
and don't fit properly in the window (i.e. being clipped), use the same
dialog to adjust their size by changing "XXXX font size", where XXXX
  is Label, Input, etc...

o X11 error messages can be reported after pressing Ok button
in configuration dialog(s). The problem seems to be harmless.

o You can experience some problems generating double-click on
  certain X servers.

o If you don't have write permissions in your spool directory and your
mail delivery agent does not support kernel locking, you can experience
mailbox corruption and even mail loss. Please read carefully "LOCKING"
section of the README file. The problem is very very rare and was noticed
only on some versions of Linux (default installation).

o If your filtering rules does not work (or does not work properly) for
some reason , or if XFMail crashes when you attempt to view some messages,
and those crashes disappear when you turn off URL highlighting,
this probably means that XFMail is having a problem with
regular expression library on your system. In this case reconfigure
XFMail with option "--with-regex" (type configure --help for more details),
  and recompile.

P.S.: regular expression library on SunOS is known to cause a lot of
problems, so it's recommended to always use --with-regex on this platform.

o If you're experiencing problems with cached folders (crashes, incorrect
info, etc..) this probably indicates a problem with your DBM library.
In this case configure XFMail with --with-dbm-lib=lib switch where
lib is either gdbm (for GNU dbm) or dbm (for Berkeley's dbm)
(You must install one of them first).

o If you're experiencing frequent crashes after upgrading from an older
XFMail version, delete your ~/.xfmail/.xfmailrc and reconfigure XFMail
from scratch. (See "UPGRADE NOTES" section in the README).

o There are some little memory leaks (I got rid of all the "big" ones)

o When using XForms 0.89 XFMail crashes when pasting and copying to Netscape
and other applications. Revert back to XForms 0.88.
