tomoyo-tools (2.4.0-20111025-1) unstable; urgency=low

tomoyo-tools version 2.4 is not backward compatible with previous version.
As same as 2.3, it will backup the old database under /etc and re-initialize
  with a new database.

tomoyo-tools (2.3.0-20100820-1) unstable; urgency=low

tomoyo-tools version 2.3 is not backward compatible with 2.2's
database. Upon installation, it will backup the old database under /etc
and re-initialize with a new database.
In case the old database is still used with the 2.3 release, the linux
kernel will panic at boot time. You can workaround the problem by booting
with 'security=none' and removing the /etc/tomoyo/* files and then running
  /usr/lib/tomoyo/init_policy

The 2.3 version also depends on Linux kernels 2.6.36 and above for many of
  its new features.
