Shrinkta is a roughly coded "test" program for the currently included libdvd library.

Shrinkta performs the following tasks with the help of external programs:
1). Backup entire DVD video disk to similar media, or:
2). Copy a single DVD title to disk as separate audio and video files.
3). Shrink the video file if needed so the title will fit on a 4.7Gb DVD disk (tcreqant/transcode)
4). Multiplex the streams (mplex/mjpegtools)
5). Author to DVD file system with original chapters. (dvdauthor)
6). Create a DVD filesystem (genisoimage)
7). Start burner program to write the image to a disk.

The libdvd library does the copying from disk with the use of the dvdread library.
It is pretty basic at the moment and has no navigation menu support or subtitle support.
I would like the library to become a useful tool for authoring DVD's as well one day.
Please read ToDo for more information.

I understand the program can read encypted DVD's if the libdvdcss package is installed on
your computer. Please be sure to check if it is legal in your country/state to make a
copy of a particular DVD before making backup copies.

PS. Don't even ask about the program name:- mmm, should be shrinkt9, dvddup or something...
